CommunityWorks is an organization that was created in 2008 by a partnership between Greenville County, Greenville County Redevelopment Authority and The City of Greenville. Their ultimate aim is to create equal economic opportunities for everyone via their resources.
For entrepreneurs and innovators, CommunityWorks provides continuing education by teaching them about financial management and other financial skills. They also help entrepreneurs to save costs by giving them access to resources and services for free or at low cost.
CommunityWorks also organizes a lending scheme for small businesses within her region. They have a special Women Business Center that focuses on building entrepreneurial opportunities for women.
