UpWiSE is a RefactorGVL initiative created to support women across South Carolina who are stepping into tech or growing their careers in the field. Their goal is simple. Help women build skills, find community, and thrive in an industry that needs more voices and more representation.

They host learning sessions, share practical resources, and create hands on opportunities for women who are entering tech for the first time. For women already in the industry, UpWiSE offers mentorship, peer support, and a community that encourages leadership, confidence, and long term growth.
